I am reading my way through all of Frances Hodgson Burnett's work this year if possible. I have read from her, A Little Princess, The Secret Garden and Little Lord Fauntelroy. I'm now reading The Lost Prince. She's an excellent author. I highly recommend her stories to anyone.

Pien and I are starting the second book in the Century Trilogy, Winter of the World.
I’ll be finishing 1984 and continuing to work my way through 1Q84.
I’m also reading Then She Was Gone for the Moms Virtual Book Club and Rebecca for the book club I host that meets in person.

Hi Sebastian. I've not read any Frances Hodgson Burnett but I'll have to add her to my tbr shelf. War and Peace has been on the list along with every other must read classic. There just aren't enough days in a life.
I, too, have several books on the go.
My plan is:
Gingerbread
Where the Crawdads Sing
Cotton Comes to Harlem
Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit
Broken Soul
And to continue
The Child Thief
L'Étranger
Zorba the Greek
Between Terror and Democracy: Algeria Since 1989
A Game of Thrones

I love 1984. It's brilliant.

I've not heard of any of the books in your list. I'll have a good look at them later after work. :)

Erin - Then She Was Gone sounds REALLY good. You'll have to let us know how it was.
Keli - Holy moly girl, that is quite the diverse list! The Child Thief sounds really interesting, right up my alley.
As for me, I hope to finish The Passage since it is taking me forever to get into. :-(
I still want to read books 2 and 3 of Ezekiel Boone's The Hatching trilogy, being that I never got to them last month, sigh...
Skitter
Zero Day
Plus I would love to read another Stephen King novel, not sure which one yet.
I also want to do a classic, maybe Frankenstein
We'll see what I get to. Happy reading fellow Snails!

You could just do a classic Stephen King, that way you could kill two birds with one stone. LOL
