John Karr (karr) | 41 comments Has anyone read "interactive" books or stories for adults? Came across a short story publisher a while back who was and still is looking for them. I'm wondering if it is catching on.

I haven't read any, personally.

I'm not sure what you mean.

I have 'read' stories by Jack London using the "iClassics Showcase" application on i pad. It adds short animations and sound effects to the stories and you have to do some little interactions to move the story along. It was a neat experience, but won't replace my normal reading habits.

They also have stories by Poe, among others.

John Karr (karr) | 41 comments I'm not exactly sure either, having never 'interacted' with one. But what you describe seems to fit the bill.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Poe interactive, but it'll just be a curiosity.
