This is when we learn the awful news. We get the verdict.

I knew to expect the worst, a lot of history isn't particularly rosy and yet Lee's writing was hopeful and it really made me think anything was possible. Like, perhaps, she was showing us what could be or, what could have been. I'm not cynical by choice ;) but sometimes it steers you right.
