And, what of Boo? Why show your face if you won't speak to relieve a father of his doubt, when you have the answer he needs?
I don't understand the lines 'Summer, and he watched his children's heart break. Autumn again, and Boo's children needed him.' In my copy, it's a few pages from the end - p.308.
Am I missing something? Is he talking of Jem and Scout- as in maybe he sees them as his informally adopted friends/children? I don't understand.
