Classic Trash discussion

I got this book from my library and finished it in two days. A quick read. If you like Raymond Chandler's writing style, I think you'll like this book.

I'm not sure if anyone else will be reading this book. I will post some of my thoughts, anyway.

I liked the female characters best and thought they were more developed than the male characters. The least interesting, to me, were the "known criminals" Archer had to deal with.They really seemed one-dimensional.

I will start it next week!

I am about halfway through. Ross Macdonald is my favorite of the hard-boiled detective writers, so I am enjoying myself quite a bit.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, Adelaide. He was a new author for me. I've always liked the hard-boiled genre.
