Hope you enjoy it as much as I am! I'm really enjoying the mix of raw honesty and dry humour!

I am again laughing out loud! I think I'm less than 100 pages in and I've already made my husband listen to me read passages and sent pics of other parts to my bestie 🤣. I am loving it!

I keep trying to highlight the funny bits, but that's most of the book so far! 😂

Kelsey (kelso30) | 82 comments I feel like I never really followed up. But i think we're on the same page here that the book was comedy gold. Even the bits really breaking down her struggles with mental illness I felt like were down to earth and honest, with just enough humor thrown in to keep it moving. Overall a fun read, I'm also putting her first book on my TBR list.

I absolutely agree with everything you just said! I always say that it is so important to be able to laugh at yourself, and Jenny really proves this point! She is so funny throughout the book and I love how (and how often) she brings up her husband, Victor. I think you can really tell she thinks the world of him and it's so endearing :)

I will also be putting her first book on my TBR list and will probably end up binge watching/reading anything that she has been involved in haha

I'm halfway through Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher, and her humour is so similar to Jenny Lawson's, that it just keeps making me think of this book!

If you enjoyed Furiously Happy, I would recommend Wishful Drinking :)
