The Miseducation of Cameron Post is a bit of a spin on the classic coming of age tale. Irene and Cameron were the best of friends and even more until Cameron lost her parents in a tragic accident in her young Elementary School years. Cameron’s Grandma Post and Aunt Ruth become her main caregivers. As Cameron has to adapt to a new life without her parents she faces growing pains like we all do. This book follows Cameron as she grows up, discovering her sexuality while discovering herself. I really enjoyed this book, I think that this would be a great book for anyone. This book would be an interesting read for a young person especially in high school because they can understand her teenage angst and just overall frustration of being a teenager. Cameron perseveres and eventually finds her crowd somewhere she least expected.
