I am so behind - it's been a crazy month around here and at the end of the month I barely had any time to read.

Challenges I completed this month:

A Book You Never Heard of Before - The Good at Heart by Ursula Werner

A New (to you) Book by a Favorite Author - Monday's Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson

A Book Featuring Aquatic Life - A Whale in Paris by Daniel Presley and Claire Polders

I haven't been keeping tabs on my kids reading, so I don't think any of them managed to hit any challenges in Feb. We'll have to dive back in for March!

What challenges did you complete in February?

Erin (erin814) | 5 comments A story told from multiple perspectives- To the Bridge: A Story of Motherhood and Murder

A story told in an unconventional format- Breast Cancer at 35: A Memoir

Nikki (mnnikki) | 164 comments Thanks to some early month reading (and 2 graphic novels) I finished 4 in February.

A memoir about a person you find fascinating - Becoming by Michelle Obama - I really enjoyed all the personal details she shared as an insight into her life (and a lot about Barak too)

A history book told in graphic novel format - March by John Lewis - I'm so thankful to this challenge for bringing that book back to me. It was on my to-read shelf from a couple years ago. I plan to own this series and re-read it every February!

The next book in a series you have already started - March books 2 & 3 by John Lewis - Book 2 felt similar in intensity to Book 1 but oh my goodness Book 3. I had to read it in multiple sittings across multiple days. Wow. What a story, and I thought it was very well suited for graphic novel.

An award-winning book - Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis - I found this on a Black History Month table at our library and I was rooting for Bud the whole way! I also thought the personalities of the band members were unique and interesting.

Spencer Forsyth | 11 comments I’m 16 into the 40! I am going to have to look up a few suggestions for some of them, though.

Laura L Meinecke | 25 comments I finished The Radium Girls (book with a periodic element in the title).

I also finished listening to The Good Daughter (a book set in your state - Georgia).

I've got 100 pages left of Beneath a Scarlet Sky (a book you think will be your next favorite.....and it's shaping up to be!).

I loved Becoming by Michelle Obama. I'm sort of bummed I can't count it for the reading challenge ( I read it last year!). I'm not sure who else I find fascinating, haha!

Brittany (brittburkard) | 66 comments Oh my goodness we're already at the end of March basically. Where is the year going already?! Update with what I did in February (I'm late, wheeee.)

30. A book you think will be a new favorite. Monstress, Vol. 1: Awakening and I'm definitely checking out the rest of the series, I love it so far!

36. A book about a social and/or political issue that is important to you. Dumbing Us Down: The Hidden Curriculum of Compulsory Schooling, The Unschooling Handbook: How to Use the Whole World as Your Child's Classroom, and Educated all fit this for me in terms of education and the freedoms and regulations around it.

18. A history book told in graphic novel format. Anne Frank's Diary: The Graphic Adaptation

15. A book with an LGBTQIA+ protagonist. The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue
