Roger, that. Considering the cost, etc., etc., I'll stick with KDP. At this point in my life, writing has become a labor of love.

I like the fact that Ingram is more store friendly and offers hardcover book production, if decide to go that way, but it all depends on your situation and your plans.

Seriously thinking of just sticking with KDP. I don’t have the time to learn another system at the moment.
I think you can't have the same ISBN for expanded dist on KDP and Ingram Sparks. KDP sells it's wholesale ( mass distribution) books on Ingram so it's just duplicated. If I want to do KDP mass dist- I do one ISBN for them and a separate one for IS. If I am just doing mass dist on IS- then I use the same ISBN for both KDP and IS- does that make sense?

I think the process is a bit too much for me to get my head around given the time frame. I've got too much 'other life' stuff going on this month.
I'm really counting on D2D coming in with a simple procedure this year for POD. I can cope with their system.
It's easier when you can do everything in one spot- but they do say, that Imgram is the largest distributor in the world. I actually sold more mass distribution with Createspace, but made much less.

You don't need separate ISBNs. I was rather surprised by that, because I had them originally through our own little company. But all you have to do is set up your print book and your epub, and Ingram sends it to Amazon. Amazon converts it to Kindle format and assigns an ASIN. The ISBN ends up being the same for both epub and Kindle editions.

For new books, of course, that won't be a problem. I'll set them up on Ingram and they'll flow through to Amazon without trouble . . . I hope! But the Author Central people are pretty good at helping out if there is a problem, at least in my limited experience.

I lost a little more hair over this before I got it resolved...
