Parts of this were hilarious, parts were a lot of fun and also interesting, parts were just plain boring or went far beyond anything I cared about. The majority of my favourite parts were among the 12 one page "Weird (ans Worrying) Questions from the What If? Inbox," although some of those were funnier than others. Randall Munroe is an internet cartoonist, but he didn't invent this idea, naturally--The Journal of Irreproducible Results has been doing this since well before Munroe was born, and they are now online here. Should you read this book? Seriously, it's absurd to think this is required reading, but hypothetically you might learn some serious science reasoning as long as you're not looking for helpful answers.
