Isabelle I think that maybe I was waiting for a more DAMN!! reason for Kell to hate Alucard. Maybe he put Rhy's life in danger or maybe he betrayed the crown. I don't know but just breaking Rhy's heart was a bit underwhelming. Rhy clearly forgave Alucard when they met again. So why was Kell so Hateful? At least in AGOS. I mean at first, we know that Kell did not like Alucard but I was expecting something that would make me gasp. All that build up for "oh he just broke Rhy's heart" I think that was the weakest part of the whole book. Then again, Kell would hold that type of grudge, but still, a broken heart is still not enough to want to kill someone...

Samuel Maybe it's because Alucard left Rhy pregnant and then ran away to play pirate instead of fulfilling his fatherly duties?
I have no clue man, there's so many inconsistencies in this book, so many things that don't make sense, and so many characters' reactions are so blown out of proportion that honestly, I'm glad Kell even has a reason to hate Alucard, even if it's something lackluster. Even that is infinitely better than the fact that (view spoiler)
