first case is one of my favourites. the dyatlov pass incident. for those who dont know here a brief history from wikipedia:
"The Dyatlov Pass incident refers to the mysterious deaths of nine ski hikers in the northern Ural mountains on the night of February 2, 1959. The incident happened on the east shoulder of the mountain Kholat Syakhl
The lack of eyewitnesses has inspired much speculation. Soviet investigators simply determined that "a compelling natural force" had caused the deaths. Access to the area was barred to skiers and other adventurers for three years after the incident. The chronology of the incident remains unclear because there were no survivors
Investigators at the time determined that the hikers tore open their tent from within, departing barefoot into heavy snow and a temperature of −30 °C (−22 °F). Although the corpses showed no signs of struggle, two victims had fractured skulls, two had broken ribs,[2] and one was missing parts of her face due to postmortem decay"

this one has always sparked my interest. theres so many questions and rumours. what do you think about this one?

Interesting. I think I remember reading about that.
Ever hear of a Wendigo?
Ever hear of a Wendigo?
i do know a bit about wendigos, a myth of the algonquins, a person either possessed or turning into a flesh eating monster. ancient bed time stories to keep the kids from going all cannibal.
I don't know it came to mind when I was reading that.
ah yes, the abominable snowman or yeti theory. its possible in the dyatlov pass incident. the bodies being radioactive fact throws me off tho. and no tracks of anyone but the campers themselves, i hear yeti have pretty big feet.
tho i guess if one of the campers was a wendigo he or she would have changed or maybe not even changed, just been possessed to go wild.
That's what I was thinking. Maybe it was one of the campers, and they ended up getting hurt while attacking the others ya know.
some of their clothes were radioactive. thats what throws me off. why not all of their clothes? or their bodies? with radiation i thought it was all or nothing. perhaps after whatever hit them in the tent causing them to scatter half dressed hit their left behind clothes.
Yeah I don't know about that part. That sort of stumps me.
lets go back to another oldie but a goodie, the tunguska event, anyone have any thoughts? im on the meteor side. id just makes the most sense to me
Underground lizards? XD
No but seriously, I agree. But then again there might have been a pocket of some sort of gas.

there are lots of crazy theories out there, my favourite is the miniature black hole theory, lol. i dont believe it but its certainly the most entertaining.
Certainly is entertaining. Doesn't make much sense though. A random black hole suddenly popping up out of no where. Then again it there might have been a mass there that caused the black hole.
all right, so heres a possible x file. ive always been a believer that the organic material that started all life on earth came from an meteor smashing into us oh so long ago. now i read about this http://www.newscientist.com/article/d... thats an ocean discovered near the centre of the earth. could this possibly be where life really sprang up? the primordial ooze that we all started from leaking from this underground world? what do you think?

lol i donno about atlantis, i was more thinking microbiologically, woo big word that i dont even is real or not, lol, anyways, i was thinking little things like bacteria and what not. oozing up from this underground ocean, evolving into whatever in our oceans. from the size of this underground ocean tho who knows, maybe there is some kind of underwater society, lol, that might not be so good for us land dwellers. imagine the types of creatures that might live there tho? if the crazy stuff our oceans produce deep down are any indication then there might be some seriously crazy creatures in that underground ocean.
