Barry Frost is reuniting with his ex-wife, Alice. Jane takes serious issue with him resuming this relationship. Was she out of line, just being a good friend and worrying on his behalf or a combination of both?

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments I think Jane is a great friend to Frost and Maura, but her approach to both of their personal lives is a bit much. She worries for both of them but needs to express this is a less pushy bossy way.

I think if Jane had just asked Frost about his feelings rather than snarking at him, maybe they could have had a more meaningful discourse. We don’t know what’s going on with Alice...maybe she’s learned to better appreciate Barry. But because Jane put him on the defensive, Barry never gives a point of view. I appreciate Jane’s affection for him but she handled this all wrong. He was pretty miserable without Alice.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Jane was trying to be a good friend as she saw how hurt Frost was by Alice's betrayal. That said, she shouldn't interfere. He is a grown man and can make his own decisions as stupid as they may be.
