Jane was always skeptical of Maura’s death and it took a lot to convince her initially. Was it her doggedness that turned things around?

If Jane hadn't fought so hard I think Maura would have been "buried" with no questions asked.

All she needed was one little sign and when she got it, Jane ran with it. I loved that scene when everyone was waiting for the comparison of the dental records to the body. I could see and hear the collective sigh of relief when they proved it wasn’t Maura.
