What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read probably about half of this book last year anI i think is was by a female author and its YA. So this probably has a couple spoilers, so be warned. It's about a girl that was adopted by the doctors who treated her after the police took her from the foster place she was at because her foster mom died. The boy she was with saved her many times from the foster father, but they got seperated, when sje gets adopted. Because of emotional trama she doesnt go back to public school until highschool (i think senior year). This is where she runs into that boy again... Dundund duuunnn... Any way they recognize each other and he is sort ofnlike the hot popular dude that's sort of dating a girl (lol basically like every other book). Any way at one point I remeber that he goes over to her house to help her with a speech, because she has a fear of public speaking, she is very quiet and barely talks at all ( well to everyone but him). Also later in the novel he takes her to a old building where he grafittis walls. Thats the alst that I can remeber.
