Continuing Edge of Eternity for my buddy read with Pien.

Finishing The Bear and the Nightingale for my book club which meets on 6/14.

Then I’ll be tackling The Silent Patient, the May BOTM for the Virtual Mom’s Book Club which I’ll only now be getting from my library next week. Followed by their June BOTM Something in the Water.

And possibly diving back into 1Q84 if I can find the time...

Monument 14 (Monument 14, #1) by Emmy Laybourne MONUMENT 14, by Emmy Laybourne (because Dayna mentioned it and hey, it's a dystopia/post-apoc)

Lots of good, varied reading going on for everyone this month. By the end of the week, I'm hoping to finish "Red Mist" (Kay Scarpetta #19) by Patricia Cornwell; I am listening to it on audiobook and enjoying the narration very much. The most recent ebook I've started is "A Little Life" by Hanya Yanagihara; wish me luck with that one. I'll continue with several others as well as I am resting for the most part over the summer and not exerting myself too much. Stay cool, everyone, and sit in the shade!!

Candace (candywilliams) | 491 comments For June, I’m reading Margaret George’s 900+ page The Autobiography of Henry VIII: With Notes by His Fool, Will Somers, which I actually started in May. Her research is impressive and the writing is engaging and easy to read. Having the King’s “autobiography” annotated with “notes” from his famous fool was a stroke of genius.

Dayna | 16 comments Ha! That's cool. A couple other people wanna read Monument 14 as well. I should bump it up my list and read it after the The Invisible Library (The Invisible Library, #1) by Genevieve Cogman .
