This is a poem from the book
To And From Crack To Christ: A Sinner In Recovery
written by Anonymous Sinner
Lord Who Am I
Lord who am I
That you would love
Enough to send your son
As if I was important
As if I mattered
As if I was someone
Lord who am I
That you would watch over me
As I went through my test
Always by my side
Never late with a delivery
Of a way out of my mess
Lord who am I
That you would stand by
And watch me as I smoked crack
Not there to judge
But to only show love
While asking "Are you done with that?"
And when I said yes
Lord I need your help
You were already reaching out your hand
You said, I was always here
Welcome home my child
Your down, let me help you stand
Lord who am I
That you will never leave me
Even when I was wrong
The Lord said
You are my child
That was once lost
And I sent my Son to bring you home.

Thank you for sharing your faith with others. Without faith, there can be no recovery. May the Lord keep you and bless you, watching over you all the days of your life. Peace to you, RMU

Question#1
What inspired you to write?
Question#1
What inspired you to write?

Was this the first book you have attempted to write and how long from first writing to publishing?
Did you start writing it because of a personal need such as part of your recovery or because you felt called of God to do it?
What were your hopes for the book when you finished it and have you seen these hopes realized?
Will you be writing any more works and if so are you going to stick with the Christian theme?
Do you have much contact with other Christian writers since writing this work?

Question#1
What inspired you to write?"
I have always been a quiet and private person, however I also believe that there's power in testimonies of others that can shed the light on similarities that may also bring hope to others going through what I've been through. Therefore since I am not into public speaking I was inspired to write to share my story in hope of showing others that they are not alone and that there's help for them also if they would have the faith to seek it and believe that sobriety is within reach.
