The Reading Challenge Group discussion

It's August and I've not long joined this, my first challenge. Although I've only set 10 books to read for the rest of 2014, it's because I don't read that many books usually and thought it would be realistic. Now I've set myself the challenge I'm reading more and choosing books, which I think, are rather good! I might have to change the challenge set to a higher number to push myself a bit further. I've got a good mix of biography, classic, historical fiction, contemporary, supernatural, and thriller. Really looking forward to reading them all. 3 read so far and if the others are as good then I'm in for a treat. Super!

Good luck Topazriver! I find that when I have a good variety of books, I read more...it becomes addictive.

Good luck with your challenge, Topazriver. You might find that you just read way too many books for the challenge and end up with a high number :) I had set my number at 36 and I'm currently at 49, which is awesome!

Thanks you guys. I've just finished my 6th book and upped my aim to 15. A few months ago I would have said, 'no way!'. In bliss enjoying reading again. Thanks for the support xx

Just finished The Martian. Lots more to look forward to. All library books a part from Lord of the Flies (on my kindle). Really looking forward to Mr Penumbra's as it looks like a really fun read. I'm up for a bit of fun reading after The Martian as it was a little bit serious being stuck on Mars giggle.
