I'm finally done with my (probably over-long) review! You can find it on my blog. This month I decided to read Eragon (though I was actually initially planning on picking up The Song of Achilles!), and found myself very much on the fence about it: I liked it, but thought it had a lot of flaws... and I probably would have liked it a lot more if I'd read it as a teenager.
