Sci-Fi Romance discussion

I read this series a while back I know it’s sci-fi. It’s about a human who gets kidnaped her alien love Interest tries to feed her worms he explains you have to eat them with this special sauce when she does as he asks and tries them they taste like chocolate and she loves them I can’t remember the author book series or even characters names just have a hankering to find this book again.
