I think they have good chemistry. Remember the Christmas dinner? Lestrade could not take his eyes of her. mm, I have seen the other ship on many fics but they met last season so there is not a lot of scenes between them.
I do not ship Sherlolly romantically, it's more like a BroShip. I think Sherlock and John are perfect for each other :)
