Hello:

This is a messy one. Lin Carter's Simrana Cycle appears in the database four times:

Sometimes the format is hardcover, sometimes paperback and sometimes ebook. Sometimes the author is credited by his professional name (Lin Carter), sometimes by his legal name (Linwood V. Carter), and sometimes by the name of the illustrator (Roy Krenkel). But it is the same book.

It also has the same list of contributors. One of these contributors is Gary Myers. He is linked to the book (when he is linked to it at all) in two ways:

Clearly there are some issues here. I don't know who has is authorized to fix them. I am pretty sure that I am not, and Carter has been dead for thirty years. But I will do what little I can. So:

I have corrected the editor's name to Robert M. Price and moved him up in the list so that the book could be combined. I have also fixed your name where it appears. Fixed Carter's name, but I am not sure he should be listed on these as if I understand correctly he is only the "creator" (and perhaps should be designated as such).

Can you clarify the roles of Hickman and Krenkel? I can see Hickman did the cover; are there illustrations by either throughout? I know Krenkel sometimes did frontispieces only.

Happy to obliege. Roughly speaking, Lin Carter wrote the first third of the book, a gaggle of moderns wrote the middle third, and Lord Dunsany wrote the last. Hickman did only the cover art; it was new for the book. Krenkel did spot illustrations for only one of the Carter stories; the illustrations were ported with the story from an earlier printing.
