I'm right there with ya. I got an email today that the audiobook is available again so I'll be picking it up again this week. :D

I have to say this second read through ( I know I completed the book back in high school, but literally forgot almost all of it) has made me question why I loved it so much? I'm finally 1/2 way through the book at page 490 *sigh* and I absolutely despise Mr. Gaunt.
Speaking of being so behind. I've been trying to catch up on Everything's Eventual our January pick in between reading Needful Things and I only have 4 short stories left. We can do ladies!

I try to read different types of books so that doesn't happen. But once I was reading 3 books that had Jack as a character. That tripped me up. It was so random to open the books up and find that name. LOL

I just finished! I forced myself to because I'm about to travel and was determined to finish it beforehand, lol. It definitely was slow getting into it, but the second half is so full of different Stephen King references. No spoilers, but I felt like I was having a mini freak out every couple of pages!

That is the one of the major things I get excited about when reading King's books. There is usually a book cameo or a character cameo in his other books. Like Cujo's family is mentioned in Needful Things. If I never read Cujo, I wouldn't have known that :D

I'm currently on page 617/933 of Needful Things. I've been listening to it everyday and still I'm not done. This summer will definitely be catch up season.
Just wanted to come on here and end May's discussion. Did I finish Needful Things...not quite. It's a long one. Did I start Insomnia no unfortunately not. I will be catching up over the summer. How did you all do?
Now Insomnia is talked about in the Dark Tower series briefly. It is also very weird and has an old man as the main character. So for those like myself who like reading about old people lol you will definitely like this one.
As for the movie.... it seems it had a green light, director and cast back in 2012, but it never came out? If it ever does I'll definitely be watching the movie.
Speaking of movies... I found a lot of King's movie adaptations on Amazon in package deals. As in, 4 movies in one case. That kind of thing. I'm thinking of splurging this summer and getting as many as I can for all the books I've already read so far.
If you have read this book *without spoilers* let me know down below what you thought of it and whether you'll be re-reading it this month.
Good luck!
