I've seen the movie 4 or 5 times so I have background knowledge of the story. It's a really good movie, I highly recommend after you finish the graphic novel! I like and dislike that the pages are like newspaper. lol.

I have not seen the movies but maybe I'll see if I can watch one after I finish the book.

It's a revenge story. And V is an anti-hero. You're purposely not supposed to know much about him. The movie is faster-paced. This is kind of slow. I'm on page 200. I'll be finishing soon. I'm sorry you didn't like it!
