I started the book this evening and got up to page 78. It's a dark distopian story set in England..at the moment I have mixed feelings on it. Not too sure I like it. I need to think about it more. I've read lots of distopian stories...so that's not the thing bugging me. Maybe I'm just tired and sleepy due to the hour. By the way I should add I had no idea what this book was about before I started to read it. My former roommate gave it to me.

I've seen the movie 4 or 5 times so I have background knowledge of the story. It's a really good movie, I highly recommend after you finish the graphic novel! I like and dislike that the pages are like newspaper. lol.

Well I read more of this book this morning before my ride arrived and I must say I'm enjoying the story more. On page 91 now.

I have not seen the movies but maybe I'll see if I can watch one after I finish the book.

I'm sorry but I cannot finish this book. It is super boring and it hasn't any suspense or thrills or anything like that. I found myself skipping through the pages. I like a book where I can get into the characters head and here I am on page 189 and I still don't know anything about V's hopes or dreams, what he is feeling, etc. Maybe it's supposed to be some weird superhero story and I don't really care for superhero at all. It is by marvel so... He's just going around killing people and threatening others.

It's a revenge story. And V is an anti-hero. You're purposely not supposed to know much about him. The movie is faster-paced. This is kind of slow. I'm on page 200. I'll be finishing soon. I'm sorry you didn't like it!
