As the team begins to focus on Kyle and Brandon, there seemed to be an unwillingness to place strong consideration towards Brandon. Did that make sense to you or did Kyle seem to have a stronger fit to the profile?

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments Even though Kyle seemed to fit the profile, I didn't accept it. I felt there had to be someone else. Brandon never occurred to me. I just felt he was too young to have done all of this. I always felt the killer was older than Brandon.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments While I suspected Kyle at first, it became clear rather quickly that Brandon was the killer. Carina's brother's profile suggested someone younger and disorganized.

Although people's reluctance to believe that a child or teen could be a killer is understandable, there have been so many cases in real life demonstrating that young people are just as capable of viciousness and cruelty that I never rule out the possibility.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments That's a good point, Lauren. I think I just couldn't believe a teenager could do this.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments It took me a very long time to consider Brandon, even after I'd sidelined Kyle.

I heard on the news in last couple of days that a local eight-year-old brought a loaded gun to school and that he was arrested and is going to be charged with a crime. There must be more to the story, but what the newsreaders told the audience was chilling enough. I think it had something to do with the kid accepting stolen property.

Yes, no one wants to believe a teenager could be a killer, but it actually happens more often that we would like.

That's awful!

As soon as Brandon was introduced, he rose to the top of my list. When we were given the choice of Kyle or Brandon, I chose Brandon because he was a better fit to the profile. There was nothing seemingly immature about Kyle, in fact quite the opposite.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I think Kyle fit the profile better because he was the manager and knew the girls so well. They would have trusted him. Brandon was just part time help. I started to suspect Brandon when I thought about how under the radar he was.

As soon as I learned about Brandon, I immediately knew he was the one. That's when the pieces fell into place for me.
