Beyond Reality discussion

Starting these discussions early because I know I have a busy day tomorrow and everyone is chomping at the bit to talk about this one!

I read it a couple of weeks ago - couldn't wait. It'll be fun seeing what everyone thinks!

I am about 20% in. It took me a while to remember what’s going on, but I’m deep into it now!

I’m probably gonna start it this weekend for my
Birthday read next Tuesday. Finishing up TRAIL OF LIGHTNING right now.

Listened to it. Wondered where it would go. Found it very interesting

I couldn't handle reading book 7. I just couldn't manage horrible people doing horrible things because they think they're some kind of god, knowing the book is going to end in a down place. I do love the series however. Can I skip 7 and pick up here, at a point where things are likely to be moving upwards again? I don't want to abandon the series, but I know I'm never going to finish Persepolis Rising.

I know I would not be able to skip a whole book, but I’m not you. I think I would at least google a couple plot summaries for Persepolis Rising before diving into Tiamat's Wrath. If you love the series overall, I would move forward, give this a try, and see how that goes.

It did take awhile to remember where everything was left after PERSEPOLIS RISING. I didn’t realize how significant the Laconia takeover was.
