10.10 - Juneteenth
June 19, or Juneteenth, celebrates the day in 1865 that slaves in Galveston, Texas were told that slavery had ended. It is now more broadly celebrated as the end of slavery generally. Let's expand it a bit more, and read a book by a person of color from this list:
#ReadPOC: List of Books by Authors of Color

REQUIRED: Specify the page of the list on which your book is found.

Christine | 917 comments Page 1 of the list includes The Inheritance Trilogy. Would we need to read all 4 installments (including Book 3.5), or would reading one book from the trilogy satisfy the task requirements? I'm hoping to read The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms (Book 1 of the trilogy) this summer and I'm wondering if it would fit here. Thanks!

I think I just found the answer to my question in the FAQ. Sorry to trouble you!

Lauren (laurenjberman) Just to clarify - do we read a book from this list or any book by any author on the list?
