Kristina Simon (kristinasimon) I'm going to concentrate on completing some challenges that end in May. So, I don't think I'm going to get around to the theme this month.

Subject to change until challenge start:

TBR:
Books:
I Can See You (Romantic Suspense, #10; Minneapolis, #1) by Karen Rose Helter Skelter The True Story of the Manson Murders by Vincent Bugliosi The Face Of Deception (Eve Duncan, #1) by Iris Johansen
Audio:
The Invisible Life of Ivan Isaenko by Scott Stambach Knit One, Kill Two (A Knitting Mystery, #1) by Maggie Sefton

Friday:
Hours Read: 10
Pages Read: 600
Hours Listened: 2

Comments: Got off to a great start due to day off. ;-) Ten hours of reading allowed me finish off the two books I was currently reading and to sneak in a graphic novel. Also got in 2 hours of audiobook listening for a total of 12 hours.

Saturday:
Hours Read: 2
Pages Read: 93
Hours Listened: 4

Comments: More audiobook listening today as I need to go pull weeds and mow the grass. Between that and actual reading time, I'm hoping to get in at least 6 hours of listening/reading in today.

Sunday:
Hours Read: 4
Pages Read: 135
Hours Listened: 2.5

Comments: Page numbers are an approximation. I always forget to record start and end pages. Hours are correct, though. I think I'll just track those next time.

Totals:
Hours Read: 16
Pages Read: 828
Hours Listened: 8.5
Hours read + hours listened = 24.5

Comments: Page numbers are an approximation. I always forget to record start and end pages. I made the 24 hours using a combo of reading and listening and had a ton of fun! I finished 4 books and am 80% finished with another. All and all, a great experience and a wonderful way to blast through the last couple of books needed for some of my reading challenges.

Thank you, Tamara and jb!! This will most certainly become a monthly ritual for me. Looking forward to next month! 😍

Books Completed:
Pretty Poison (A Peggy Lee Garden Mystery, #1) by Joyce Lavene Spinning by Tillie Walden The Lost Continent Travels in Small Town America by Bill Bryson The Cracked Spine (Scottish Bookshop Mystery, #1) by Paige Shelton

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I will also be tracking on my spreadsheet. Made a new tab for Monthly updating.

My Group Planning Post (Tentative TBR Plans) here.

FRIDAY PROGRESS

Hello all! Today is going to be a very busy day for me. Work, then have to bring my son about 45 min away to a friend's graduation. My mother and I are just dropping him off and spending a few hours hanging out and shopping, but will not be home until late. Don't think I'll get that much reading done, but I will get a little in between slow spurts and lunch hour.

As planned, I started Murder House yesterday and am about 10% in. I plan to read a bit more of it before anything else today.

Update - Graduation attendance cancelled!! I had a lot more time to read than I thought. Spent about 4 hours and finished Murder House, my first book down. I feel like I read so slow!

Finished the last 30% of a humor fantasy on the couch, The Chronicle of Heloise & Grimple

Then started and read Exorcist Falls - good book, I'm on a roll! :) - almost done, have a little under half left

SATURDAY PROGRESS

After Midnight, read a little over 100 pages of It's Kind of a Funny Story - after that, got tired, and bed. Zzzzz

Now updating at 12 in the afternoon, no more reading (yet)

I want to prioritize finishing the last part of It's Kind of a Funny Story, then reading some of Kindred, and starting other stories. Going well so far.

Just read 30 minutes of It's Kind of a funny story, finished.

Finished Exorcist falls last night, 35 in

SUNDAY PROGRESS

Read and finished Inescapable (not originally planned)

Was caught up in a bunch of stuff so my reading time was cut out a lot :/

Jenny Clark I'm at just under 2 hours so far, working through No Way.

Turns out that's not going to be a read-a-thon book since I stayed up way too late last night finishing it. It was really good!! ;-)

Glenda | 52 comments Hi everyone!
My goals for this weekend were to finish a couple of my current reads Perfume: The Story of a Murderer and American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century, then start either Natchez Burning or Crazy Rich Asians (or both, depending on my mood!). I'll keep track here.

UPDATE:
Friday: American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century 103 pgs

Saturday: American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century 55 pgs, finished
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer 112 pgs

Sunday: Perfume: The Story of a Murderer 56 pgs, finished
Natchez Burning 142 pgs
My Fathers' Ghost Is Climbing in the Rain 52 pgs

Page total: 520
I kept forgetting to keep track of the time, it was probably around 8-9 hours total.

I did reach my goal of finishing the two current reads, and the two I started today are really good so far! Looking forward to the next one! :)
