Lindsay | 1337 comments I've read The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns and I rated them both 5 stars although I definitely preferred A Thousand Splendid Suns. So I'm looking forward to this.

Sandra (sass000) | 40 comments Starting this one tonight. Hoping it’s as good as 1000 splendid suns.

Sandra (sass000) | 40 comments I’m having a hard time finding time to read this but I’m halfway thru. I hope to be able to finish this soon as I have another buddy read to finish this month.

I finally finished it.

Lindsay | 1337 comments I've just started but hopefully won't take too long.

L Y N N (book_music_lvr) | 2389 comments Ooohhh...I added this to my July listing and will try to get it read so I can participate.

Lindsay | 1337 comments I thought it was just me. I was getting a bit confused about who was who and how they were connected. I thought it was just because I had days where I had no time to read. I agree I didn't enjoy it as much as the others but I was putting it down to a lack of focus from me. I still liked the writing though.

Stormie ~ Book Dragon ~ (stormiebookdragon) | 108 comments I borrowed this book from the library and would like to join in if it is going to be open to the end of July.

L Y N N (book_music_lvr) | 2389 comments As much as I wanted to participate, I'm not going to have time to even start it by the end of July. Interesting that it seems to be a bit confusing... For some reason, I didn't expect it to be as appealing as his others have been. Don't know why. Just had a feeling...

Sandra (sass000) | 40 comments Catherine wrote: "I meant to check in and say that I finished the book. I'll be honest, I didn't like it as much as I've liked his other books. I think it's because there were too many story lines happening with no ..."

I liked it but I agree with you I enjoyed his other books better (especially 1000 Splendid suns). I also agreed about the many story lines.
