IRED Bookclub discussion

For discussing The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy before we start reading. What expectations do you have? What are your concerns? What have you heard of the book? Etc.

This one should be good! Also helpful that it's relatively short. I honestly have no idea what this book is about, but I hope it lives up to the hype.

This one has been on my shelf for a long time, so it's nice to have a good excuse to finally get to it. I'm in the same boat, no idea what to expect but I have high expectations.

I saw bits of the movie with Martin Freeman and I had hoped to get to the book some day. The tone was what grabbed me - that it was a full-on sci-fi story that didn’t take itself very seriously.
