I am sorry to hear that. Horses are wonderful creatures...is there any particular reason why?
Not all of them....find a welsh mountain pony and introduce yourself....they are the gentlest nicest natured creatures. And the mighty Clydesdales are lovely and gentle also. But having said that I have known a few psychotic racehorses and show horses in my time...

Riding will become a natural extension. Horses are a bit like dogs - they know when you are scared. So find someone with a lovely old pet horse, or go visit a Riding for the Disabled Group. I'm from Illinois, I've moved a lot tho (and I'm not from Chicago, bout as far from there as you can get!) I live in a quiet country village, really, in southern IL.
Born in Arizona (sorry, Kara, no way to avoid mentioning the name here...ha) also lived in Texas and New Mexico, then back to Arizona. I now live in Mexico, with my husband Marco Antonio, who is the great grandson of Emiliano Zapata.
