Laura (lauradragonchild) | 6554 comments Hi everyone. :)

I am just setting up my blog and could use some help with recommendations.

You see, my blog is dedicated mainly to the Underdogs in both Fantasy and Romance. To those great books people should read but don't really know about.

Are there any Fantasy or Romance Underdogs that you love? Standalones or part of a series, let me know about them so I can give them a chance!

Thank you! :))

Aakash (procrastinator) | 448 comments For me, I really think The Merchant of Deathseries by D J Machale should be more famous but it isn't. It is a long 10 book series but every one of them is my favourite.

I honestly didn't know about this series. I'm adding it.

Julia | 122 comments I liked Scorched, Shattered, and Smoked by Mari Mancusi. It was a really fun trilogy... fantasy/sci-fi with a hint of romance. Many describe these books as Eragon meets Terminator, which I think describes it perfectly! And, if you write to the author, she will send you autographed bookplates for your copies, or you can buy autographed books right from her site!
Scorched (Scorched, #1) by Mari Mancusi

Sandra (sleo) | 179 comments All of Janny Wurts’ books! I absolutely Love them and am dying to get them all produced in audio! I looked on Audible.com and the newest one Destiny's Conflict only has 16 ratings! Geeze people! What’s up with that? Listen to it! The narrator is fabulous!

Laura (lauradragonchild) | 6554 comments Thank you everyone! :)

I haven't read any of the above and must confess I didn't even hear about them. Except the Pelinor series that is, but that is just because someone else suggested it once for a BR that didn't work out.
Thank you. :)
