Jasna Nickells | 116 comments There seems to be no chat thread here so I thought I could make one. I don't think it has to be book related so you can talk about whatever as long as it is in the rules. so... enjoy!

Katie Burke (katiekate98) Mine was to read 30 books this year and I already did it! What about you Kara?

message 3: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments I never had a reading goal! but maybe read 150 books I suppose. I'm already at 100 this year

message 4: by Jan (new)

Jan farnworth (tweetybugshouse) mine a 100 sitting around 80 or so now

message 5: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments I love rereading books. its sort of comforting if I need an escape.

Capricious_Reads I typically don't have a reading goal, but I'd like to read three of the four series that I've begin

message 7: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments Mmmm. I quite like to read the whole series if I can. I want to know the whole story if its possible. There is a book that has a sequel to it but it isn't out until next spring. It's super annoying.

message 8: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments same here

message 9: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) That is my life!

message 10: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments so when did everyone have to go back to school/ work/ collage/ university?

message 11: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments I started on the Wednesday last week. GCSEs. soooooo tired!

message 12: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) I'm so excited right now since I threw my found-off back tuck by myself for the first time ever today! I've only been working on these for a month so I've just been really nervous about it.

message 13: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) its a tumbling pass almost like a back flip on the trampoline but on the group from a round off. Most people just call them back flips, but the correct tumbling term is back tuck.

message 14: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) yeah. you could probably youtube it and know what it is after watching someone do it once.

message 15: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) I feel like it would be really fun to do a meet up one day, but nobody really lives close to anyone else.

message 16: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) I live near Atlanta, GA. I know what you mean though. I met some people on here, but they don't live really close to me. One girl and I decided to become pen pals and write the good old fashioned snail mail. We still do it now.

message 17: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) Where do you live?

message 18: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) haha! I want to go to California at some point just to see what its like.

message 19: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) i'd want to go somewhere near a beach

message 20: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) I want to learn how to surf, so wherever the best waves for it are.

message 21: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments my Mum used to surf. the closest I've come to surfing is body boarding!

message 22: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) I learned how to body board somewhat over the summer.

message 23: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) do you know how to boogie board?

message 24: by Jasna (new)

Jasna Nickells | 116 comments I konw how!! but don't go as often as I used to... school work usually gets in the way!

message 25: by Katie (new)

Katie Burke (katiekate98) well it's where you have a board and you keep your upper body on it, then ride the wave into the shore. Your legs will hang off, but you use them to kick with.
When you body board, you use generally the same concept except without a board.

message 29: by Debbie (new)

Debbie Zapata Hi Kara and everyone ~~ I just wanted to say good-bye because I have decided to leave this group. Thanks for inviting me, Kara, and I wish you great success in making Readers Addict a popular group, but I really don't fit in here. I am in a re-organizing mood so am shuffling all my groups around a bit...who knows which ones I will eventually stay with. Enjoy your reading, everyone and best of luck in everything you all do. Adios!

message 30: by Martha (new)

Martha Sweeney (marthasweeney) | 8 comments Just wanted to say Hi to everyone! I'm new to the group. Hope you all have a happy and safe Hanukkah and Christmas! :)
