Olga | 3 comments True confession: I am a recent convert and a huge fan. Have not finished the whole series yet, but close.
Question: is there a back story to Ruth Zardo? Which book?
Her life must have been fascinating.

Thank you! I listen to them out of order - logistics (get audiobooks from libraries as they become available) - and "Nature of the beast" is on my MP3 player. Next on my list

Nature of the Beast wasn't my favorite Penny book when I read it, but loved it later as an audiobook!

Ann | 3 comments I think you basically learn a bit more of the backstory in each book. It's like meeting up with old friends periodically to catch up on what's happened. :)
