Gary (calstock) I discovered the Clothbound Classics range a couple of years ago whilst looking for a nice copy of Moby-Dick. That one purchase lead me on a trail, which has so far resulted in the completion of 22 books in the series. The journey has been truly enjoyable and enlightening, with particular highlights being the aforementioned Moby-Dick, 20,000 Leagues, War of The Worlds, Day of The Triffids and pretty much everything by Dickens. There isn't a single book I didn't feel happy to have read, but I wouldn't rush back to read Karenina & Crime & Punishment in a hurry ! The collection has inspired me to purchase the full set of Dicken's works and will certainly look to buy more novels from the Authors read within the collection. I've just spent several minutes looking at the 22 books on my bookshelf and wondered if it were possible to pick an absolute favourite. With so many great novels to choose from, that's a big ask, and I know it's not everyone's favourite, but Moby-Dick has to take the ticket. "Call me Ishmael", what more can I say ?
