Hello everyone! I’ve decided to go ahead and open the June thread readathon goals thread. It looks like our readathon will be June 28 - June 30. That worked out well!

What will you be reading?
What are your June readathon goals?
What is your time goal?

And remember this is about reading and having fun! There is no pressure.

Everyone has some great goals! My goal is to shoot for 24 hours as always, but I’d like to aim at finishing Moby Dick and get a few more Dr Seuss books in too. I’ve challenged myself to read all of the published Dr. Seuss books I can get ahold of this year. Moby Dick was my first half of the year six month goal so it’ll be perfect if I set aside the time to finish that too.

Once we get a bit closer I’ll open up the tracking thread.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I'm not sure yet but will plan once closer

Mr Pink Ink (mrpinkink) | 8 comments I am currently on holiday at the moment, so I don't know how much time I'll have to read, but I am definitely aiming for the 24 hr mark and maybe 1000 pages... we'll see...

Planned TBR for readathon:

Small Spaces by Sarah Epstein
Time Torn by Ilse V Rensburg
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Shannon (shananigansreads) | 43 comments My nephews first birthday is on Saturday so I anticipate lots a family time and not so much reading time. Setting my personal goal low and hoping I get to read much more.

I love the idea of tracking pages, I might incorporate this.

Goal: 6 Hours

Potential Reading List:
Meet Cute by Helena Hunting
Manhunt by Janet Evanovich
Run to You (100 Series, #4) by Lara Adrian
Dreams from My Father A Story of Race and Inheritance by Barack Obama
Top Secret by Sarina Bowen

message 10: by Jenny (new)

Jenny Clark Yay, this is my saturday off and I have no overtime so I should be able to get some reading in :)
I'm still working at War and Peace, so hope to get through the last 2o pages I need to read this month to stay on track to finish it by the end of the year, as well as volume 4-8 of Akame Ga Kill Zero and finish Treasure Island. I may start Spinning Silver if I get through all the others. I may also work on R H Sin and Rupi Karr poetry collections I have. We'll see how much I get through before the readathon starts at midnight tonight haha!

message 11: by Carol (new)

Carol No goal just read as much as possible
My first three books to read will be:
#1.Thirteen Across Thirteen Across by Dan Grant by Dan Grant
#2. Cookies and Clairvoyance Cookies and Clairvoyance (Magical Bakery Mystery #8) by Bailey Cates by Bailey Cates
#3. September Breeze September Breeze (Cinnamon Bay, #2) by Nikki Lynn Barrett by Nikki Lynn Barrett

message 12: by Holly (new)

Holly (goldikova) I have the same goal as the last readathon: the unread books that are sitting on my shelf.

So, I'm going to finish Pre-Raphaelites in Love, After that I might read The Curse of Chalion or A Song for Arbonne. Then again, I've only read the first book in Robin Hobb's Fitz & the Fool series, so I might start on the second book and continue on.......depends on my mood.
