Play Book Tag discussion

In this modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Scott and Donovan Darcy first meet at a dog show in the United States. She has entered her dog and he is a judge visiting from England. They do not get along at all. Elizabeth is offered a temporary job in England taking care of show dogs for a couple she has met. She accepts and soon runs into Darcy. The two have their ups and downs as they get to know each other.

This is a cute, but predictable version of the classic story. The author has created amusing minor characters, and Elizabeth and Darcy’s different worlds add a bit of humor to the tale.

Just the title of this makes me want to avoid it, and I see from your 2 stars that I'm not missing anything :).
