I’d love for you to share your opinion in the comments! What’s something you’ve learned from Jen and something you disagree with?

I love her energy. And I loved her analogy about the stinky carcass under your front porch on page 26 😂 I think her imagery is awesome. For those who are new to talking about their subconscious mind, did this help?

Corinne Bremmer | 1 comments I just finished Chapter 3 - so far, I am LOVING this book! My favorite part so far was when Jen was talking about yoga class and wanting to get out of the uncomfortable pigeon pose but then surrendering to it, and then freaking out about again not being able to do it, and then surrendering again. I really resonated with that, because I love yin yoga and that practice involves long holds in deep and sometimes uncomfortable positions, and you really do have to allow yourself to get out of your mind and just trust that your body knows what to do. That is such a beautiful metaphor for life! I also just love Jen's language, how it's not super serious, it's very lighthearted and fun to read. I think this book is really going to make a huge impact on my life, and I can't wait to see what else is in store!

Amazing Corinne! I'm so happy you're loving it.
I also resonated with that. The inner dialogue there was SPOT ON! She has a fantastic way of connecting with her readers. Thanks for commenting :)

What do you think about the quote:

"If you're serious about changing your life, you'll find a way. If you're not, you'll find an excuse."?

en Sincero nailed it here. This can be a huge wake up call! You have to really really want change for it to happen. If you think to yourself, “I SHOULD do yoga and work out everyday.”, but don’t really want to, it’s not going to happen! The changes in your life, both big and small, have to come from the heart. We often follow the motions of what we think were supposed to do in order to be happy, but that might not work for you.
That’s why I base my coaching sessions off what each individual person needs. Working out three times a week, eating healthier and waking up early isn’t going to make you a happier person and probably won’t stick! Excuses come up. Finding out what makes you happy and then designing a lifestyle catered to you is the key. 🔑
Knowing in your heart that you want change and deserve a life you love is step one.
