What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Book about a boy, who's father is a wanted murderer and has a lot of powers, for example becoming invisible. The boy falls in love with a girl who is on the "accepted" side of society. The boy discovers that he has a gift or a power that he can shapeshift into a wolf when he's angry.

SPOILER:
The boy meets his father, but his father gets killed. The boy eats his father and gets the powers that he had.
The girl that the boy was in love with turns out being a traitor who works for her family to kill the boy. The boy then falls in love with a man named Gabriel.
