When I hear mynocks or read it rather I see ESB and the space slug. I had no idea they weren't just gross monster bug things. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on them in this book.

Travis The term is just a nickname for the group of intelligence agents working under Zaluna Myder, though, right? At the beginning of chapter four it says "Myder's Mynocks. That was what the shift on her floor was named after she rose to supervise it.". I'm still not entirely certain why they are called that, since Mynocks don't appear to be awesome observers although they are excellent at avoiding detection.

Roel Veldhuyzen (roel_veldhuyzen) | 18 comments Mynocks more or less just attache themselves to ships and leech energy from them. I guess the group is called the Mynocks bechause that's pretty much what they do, just with information, not energy.
