1. Dog Days: Read 8-14 books.
Rules:
1. Any DHASG member can participate.
2. Sign up at any time during the month, but books must be read between July 1st and July 31st, 2019. Post when you sign up and update your progress regularly and when you finish.
3. Rereads are fine. Reads can overlap with other challenges on the group, but a book can only count once in this challenge.
3. In your stats, write your level, include book name, author, date read, and how it fits the particular challenge point.

1.Anti-Boredom Month: July is National Anti-Boredom Month. Let's make our July not bored by reading book a with really exciting, crazy, non-boring, out of control storyline or plotline. Share with us what makes the book non-boring.
2.It's a Joke: July 1st is also International Joke Day. Read a book that makes you laugh, ie, humorous themed or just plain funny.
3.Capture the Sunset: The third full week of July is Capture the Sunset Week, which is basically about enjoying the beauty of a good sunset. Read a book that somehow relates to a sunset. It could have 'sunset' in the name or something a little more symbolic. It's up to you.
4.Oh Canada!: July 1st is Canada Day/Dominion Day, on which the heritage of Canada is celebrated. Read a book set in Canada or which features a Canadian lead character, or is written by a Canadian author.
5.I Forgot Day: July 2nd is a day to forget, literally. It could be about forgetting the bad things or letting go of regrets. It could also be about forgetting something accidentally. Read a book that involves forgetting in some way. Perhaps an anmesia-themed book, etc.
6.Disobedience: There is a time and a place for disobedience, whether it's in protest of something wrong, or if the law is an unjust one. Read a book that relates to this concept in some way.
7.Independence Day: July 4th is the day on which the United States celebrates its declaration of independence from Great Britain. Read a book that relates to the concept of "independence" or a book that specifically relates to the US Declaration of Independence.
8.Work-a-Holic Day: July 5th is the day for people who work all the time or too much. Read a book with a lead character who is a workaholic or a recovering workaholic.
9.K.I.S.S.I.N.G: International Kissing Day on July 6th is the day to recognize the act of kissing. Read a book with a fantastic kiss, or has 'kiss' or 'kissing' in the name, or a couple sharing a kiss on the cover.
10.Ask the Lonely: July 11th is Cheer Up the Lonely Day. It's a day to be there for and comfort those of us who are lonely. Read a book about a lonely person who finds companionship.
11.We Are The World: July 11th is the day to acknowledge the 7.4 billion people who live on the earth. Read a book about the awareness that we are part of a global population of humanity, or a book that takes place in at least 4 countries around the world throughout the course of the book.
12.Geek Love: July 13th is Embrace Your Geekness Day is set aside for the geeks among us, Geek is defined as "highly intelligent, intellectual, or technologically oriented," according to Holiday Insights. Geeks can also be folks who have a tremendous knowledge base about specific areas of interest. Read a book with a geeky character.
13.Hammock Day: July 22nd is Hammock Day, which is a day to slow down and relax, preferably in a hammock. Use this part of the challenge to relax and read any book you want.
14.Sweet Shop: There are at least 25 food-related holidays in the month of July. Read a book that relates to delicious, yummy food, whether it be ice cream treats, cookies, chocolate, pie, spinach or junk food.
