Some of you may know that I blog about disability access. I find this very often goes hand in hand with green principles. We need better access for people with mobility issues to parks and gardens; sensory gardens are becoming increasingly popular; and disability access campaigners are increasingly visible, which gives them a louder voice when they speak on environmental matters.

I've made a short film (16 minutes) which is now viewable on YouTube. We visit a park and a Sky Garden among other interesting places.

Comments on disability access, or recommendations of places to visit which are making special efforts to be disability friendly, are welcome.

People with disability, or in lower income groups, are disproportionately affected by extreme weather, according to this article.
