How to Promote YOUR book on Amazon discussion

I am looking for suggestions on how to promote my dad Frank Cereo. His books are great, they keep you wanting to know what's going to happen next. I know because not only am I a fan but I also help ti edit his books. He is not that great at promoting or getting himself out there so I am helping him, and looking for suggestions. Anything helps.

I have asked people that get the books to give him a review, however Amazon seems to always take them down, or to like him on Amazon because that helps with where his books are located on the listings.

PLEASE HELP!

Make a website, A FB author page and a twitter. All three and being active on them helps a great deal. Being social and talking to others also helps, networking is key.

He has everything but a twitter. I am not sure twitter is really up his ally! Thank you for the help. I am trying everything I can to promote him. Sharing his author updates as well as his website. I have had people reading his books and asking for a review in return of a free book but it seems like no one wants to help.

Is he self-published? I am, and it hasn't been easy getting it out there. I have offered free pdf files on so many different groups, and no one really responds. I don't have a fb authors page, but I have a twitter, and honestly that doesn't seem like it does much either. Its just so hit or miss with these things sometimes. But its great that you are helping him. I hope you get his work out there! :)

Try to find blogs that review books in his genre.

Hi Michelle, I find it very touching that you are so passionate about helping your dad out. It's obvious you two love each other very much! My daughter is off living her busy life, I miss when she was younger and lived at home. I'm willing to offer you an author review swap, but I want you to read my book as I'd love to see how young girls respond to what I write.
