Jack Kincaid, Dillon’s twin brother, makes his appearance in this story. Your impressions of him? Any idea why he may be distancing himself from his family? Were you surprised he didn’t know Lucy?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments I was surprised that his character even existed as I don't remember his being mentioned in the previous books.

As to what happened to distance himself from the family, it must have something to do with his military service. His book is Sudden Death, so it is probably outlined there.

I wasn't surprised that he didn't know Lucy. She was very young when he left.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I haven't read the FBI Trilogy, more to catch up on. That is the Trilogy before the Lucy Kincaid books. Maybe we need to read them next??

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I wasn't surprised that he didn't know Lucy because he's been gone for so long. I have many theories on why he has stayed away. I liked Jack. Even though he has been gone he still has a strong loyalty to his family.
Yep Anita! Another trilogy to read!

I keep up the character lists and have no record of him being mentioned, let alone Dillon’s twin! I actually was shocked he didn’t know Lucy. That’s almost two decades.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I was surprised he didn't know Lucy. I think it stated in the book that he came home for Justin's funeral. Wouldn't he have at least met Lucy then? And he has no contact at all with his twin? I found that part a little hard to believe.

Good point about Justin’s funeral. Maybe Brennan meant he didn’t know the young adult Lucy.

That makes sense.
