Hello! Ace suggested we start a thread on getting to know each other here on GR. A wonderful idea! Please take a moment to introduce yourselves.

My name is JB here on GR and jb72 on Litsy. Of course I love to read, and I live on a farm in Kentucky with my two dogs, cat, turtles and chickens. I’m a stay at home dog mom (my human kids are grown). I am originally from Florida, and I miss the beach terribly!

I love reading and spend a fair proportion of my time either reading or playing on GR. I'm an Aussie with no kids or pets.

Hi all, I just joined the group and already cluttered your March post, before noticing this one here..... :-)

I live in Germany, have been doing home office for two weeks now, single, no pets—I miss cats terribly, but currently it wouldn‘t be fair to a cat to live with me. I am away too much. I mostly read SF and Fantasy (Urban preferred over epic). Sometimes I read romance and very rarely a classic. I don‘t read a lot of non-fiction, I am terribly slow at it.

I mostly read on my kindle, every now and then a paperback. I listen to about one audio per month and tend to read several graphic novels.

As mentioned over in the March post, I stopped tracking pages/hours listened at the end of last year, because it started to take away too much of my reading time to keep track and calculate it, etc. Very refreshing to just read, without wondering how many pages it is. As a reference, I read about a book per week, plus one audio and various comics. I averaged about 2.200 pages per month, last time I checked.

I am on Instagram and have a bookblog over at Wordpress. I post reviews for everything I read.

Back to work for a little bit... :-)

Why aren't you reading your favourites at the moment? Sometimes I do that too, to cleanse the pallet or just for a change but at the moment I'm indulging in them.

I'm trying to read more diverse/different genres. Sometimes I need to go from my comfort zone. :)
