Michael (watson-savre9) | 7 comments  Hello Readers,

I chose to Join your group because I came face to face with a critical, exponential GenderEquality-- or INEQUALITY I should say --issue. A close acquaintance I work with was dangerously close to being fired--Just for stressing safety conundrums around the machines we run. My colleague is known for their sound, assertive, but sometimes SEEMINGLY opinionated points of view. But I do not believe She was bullied (yes She is a Woman) for the safety concerns that she raised. I believe she was suspended solely for the fact that Her thoughts were brought to a group of men. A group of "hot shot", "hot-headed", power hungry men.
Whatsmore is Her Ideas were shot down just because she is a Woman!! And she was suspended for doing this!! For stressing safety concerns!
O I got soo flippin furious. Vexed. still am.

I realize instances like this happen all over the world (I have yet another instance that happened to me personally) and so I researched some books and I want to do more than just sit here Planning.

But how do I, as a lone wolf, one man with this EqualGender/Equal Identity mindset on my side of town.. End this?

What can I do to make a difference?

Yes, speak. One of the reason why one person becomes a target is he/she is alone or not publicly supported. Individually, people will agree with this person but when it comes to defend and to voice they vanish.

Let me tell you a simple and quick "story". One day a forest started to burn. The animals fled their home. Those who did not die met at the boarder of the wood watching their safe place being destroyed. Every single animal was passive, all of them except a small and tiny bird. This bird, a hummingbird, went to the river, took a few drops of water, went back to the forest and spread the water. It kept going back and forth spreading insignificant drops of water. That's stupid and useless yelled the others, the hummingbird came back to the forest and while disappearing one more time in the forest in the flames it replied "I'm doing my share."

I know it's difficult. But don't give up. They will be irritated at first but things might change with time.
And Don't be aggressive . Otherwise, you might face the same consequences that your friend did. So, all this will result in nothing.
Be friendly. Speak your way in.
And try to find people who think like you. Be united!
DON'T GIVE UP!!!

Michael (watson-savre9) | 7 comments Rafia your words are inspiring "Dont give up." I won't. I'm the sanguine type but man oh man it's hard to hold back that built-up anger sometimes you know it? Especially when it's someone I care for.
Also "..try to find people who think like you. Be united!" I thank you for that. That is why I am here what I'm trying to do Do you mind adding me as a Friend

Michael (watson-savre9) | 7 comments Jenna. HR is part of the problem. It's all a big mafia up there. All Politics. Even the local Lawyer/Judge wouldn't help me bc like I said. Politics
