laven (lavendelchen) | 321 comments I've come across this German author Dirk Walbrecker that does retellings for kids of classical adventure books like Robinson Crusoe our Moby Dick. Now, on a lot of editions the name of the original author isn't even on the cover, so should the book be combined with the original?

The original author may be added as a secondary author, but only if mentioned in the book, I think.

laven (lavendelchen) | 321 comments Really? Only if mentioned? I personally find it quite disrespectful to not even mention the original author.. But I guess that's not my job to care about. Thank you!
