At the end of May, Jake went to the PodX podcasting conference in Nashville, where recorded short conversations with some of his favorite podcasters about YA books, or books that were important to them when they were young.

All of these recordings have now been released, so I thought I would make a post here linking to them all:

* Bonus Episode 1: Lee LeBreton of 'Within the Wires' discussing Madeleine L'Engle's 'Many Waters'
* Bonus Episode 2: Jeffrey Cranor, also of 'Within the Wires', on Sarah Maria Griffin's 'Spare and Found Parts' and Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'
* Bonus Episode 3: Julie Shapiro, executive director of Radiotopia, on Louise Fitzhugh's 'Harriet the Spy'
* Bonus Episode 4: Hal Lublin of 'We Got This with Mark and Hal' talking about Piers Anthony's 'A Spell for Chameleon' and other books in the Xanth series, among other things
* Bonus Episode 5: Ross Blocher and Carrie Poppy of 'Oh No Ross and Carrie' discussing 'Maniac Magee' by Jerry Spinelli, and Louise Fitzhugh's 'Harriet the Spy' respectively
* Bonus Episode 6: Simone de Rochefort of 'The Polygon Show' talking about Libba Bray's 'A Great and Terrible Beauty'
* Bonus Episode 7: Allegra Frank, also of 'The Polygon Show', discussing Andrew Clements's 'Things Not Seen'

These recordings were mostly made in a recording room that Netflix provided, except for Ross and Carrie's, which was recorded on Jake's phone as they crouched down in a semi-secluded corner by an elevator.

While in Nashville, Jake also appeared on the Betwixt & Between podcast (a witchcraft podcast hosted by a couple of witches) to talk about portrayals of witchcraft in YA books, and kittens, and beard nipples for some reason.
