Angela finally gets the courage to ask for her money and to leave and experience freedom. Unfortunately, they're not going to let her go, as she is their paycheck. Of course they manipulate and try to convince her that they have her best interests at heart and are keeping her out of danger and despair. Deception hurts, and it hurts deeply, especially when you've placed a lot of trust in the circumstance. Seeing the lifestyle that Duchess was living seemed to open Angel's eyes to what was going on, and now she feels stuck with no way out. She stands up to the bodyguard taunting him to do her in and end it. How many times have you wanted to give up when times were bleak and you felt you had no options? Angel doesn't know God, or based on her past has a distorted view of Him. I'm thankful to have God in my life and that I can take my struggles (and praises) to Him. My way will often conflict with God's ways and I will still face disappointments, but yet there is comfort knowing He is for me and not against me and his blessings are plenty.
