Ok, I don't normally read horror, because it tends to make me laugh or it disgusts me, but doesn't thrill me. So I don't know if this is any good. To me it felt 'meh'... but I'm def. curious if anyone else here likes it.

Ditto. I did finish it, but remain unimpressed. Not terrible, not great.

Well, we still have a few other finalists to read. We can hope they're better!

Belatedly reading this one and I agree with you all. Definitely on the "meh" end of the scale for me, too.

I've not read the book, which I'm sure is excellent, but the title immediately sets me thinking of ten funny lines or noises. #ImSoPurile

So true and probably why I found it so irritating.

I forgot all about this buddy read! But based on your opinions, I think I'll skip it. I made a mental note of the title of the next story up, so maybe it will jog my memory when the thread is created!
